Parents and Children

If children don't love their parents
The way they love them
It is quite natural
Like water flows from top to bottom
Love flows naturally
From parents to children!

Judge yourself honestly
And you will see
That you love
Your children more
Than your parents!
In the entire animal kingdom
Love flows from parents to children
In the very same manner
And not opposite!

But remember we are humans
Who can turn the flow of water
We build dams
And divert rivers
And send them in opposite directions!

So we need to overcome
Our natural animal instincts
And become more human
To love and take care
Of our parents
As we do for our children
Only then
In the true sense
We will be known as humans!
