What is Acceptance?

In these modern times that we live in, due to the pressures of life and society we end up making a number of mistakes in handling the work that we do, life that we live, and relationships that we cherish most. Although mistakes are a very important part of the learning process, but if there is no 'Acceptance', there would be no learning whatsoever and you will continue repeating the same mistakes again and again. Today's generation wants quick results and often end up using wrong or corrupt methods to acquire wealth and become rich in a short period. Eventually such acts impact their professional and social image in a negative manner and the resulting scars and frustrations begin to take toll and affect their work, life and relationships. As we all know and can relate to the Universal Truth that what we sow is eventually what we will reap, but we often forget the depth of this truth In simple terms, the seeds of wrong or corrupt acts will bear similar fruit, and when you consume those fruits your life and relationships will become corrupted too. Acceptance of your actions is the first step to correction. No matter how grave the mistakes may be, with Acceptance you can easily correct them and bring back your work, life and relationships in order.

What is Confession?

After Acceptance the next step is Confession. The wrong methods you may have used would have definitely affected other people in different ways. Maybe your actions caused financial harm to someone or the company you work for, or you broke a person's trust who held you in high-esteem, or you cheated on your partner. The easiest way of Confession is when no one can see your face or know who you are, but that is no confession at all. A true Confession only comes out of a true Acceptance of your acts, and then the fear of shame or disgrace vanishes, and you are able to face your victims and confess by looking straight into their eyes.

What is Rectification?

It is not just enough to Accept and Confess if there is no Rectification of your wrongful acts. The harm and hurt that your actions may have caused has to be reversed by all means, and it may take considerable time and effort to do that. The most important requirement is that you need to sow the seeds of Acceptance deep down into your heart, followed by seeds of Confession also deep down into your heart, and then subsequently when you begin the process of Rectification it will automatically begin deep down from your heart. After all, it is always the Mind that misleads, but then it is only the Heart which has the power to rectify those misdeeds.

There is a huge signboard I saw on the highway, "REPENT - JESUS is coming". RECTIFICATION is true REPENTANCE and Jesus is already there in your Heart. You simply need to begin the process of True Acceptance, True Confession and True Rectification from deep inside your Heart, and he will come and help you because that is where he lives.
