Our True Friend

In times of our need

Who is there indeed!

When we are down and hungry

Who uplifts, who feeds!

Walking barefoot on ground

Who is there all around!

Picking thorns, picking the weeds

Giving us love, taking care of our needs!

There are times in our life

When nothing seems right

Today looks so bleak

How can tomorrow be bright!

Suddenly from no-where

You see a shadow, a light

Who is there, can we see!

Above race, color or creed

Away from Religion, away from greed!

It’s HIM,  “ Our True Friend ”

In times of our need!
