A Stage

The world is a stage
We are here to perform
Good or bad actions
According to our age!

Times are so modern
Humans are kind of lost
We look from door to door
Believing, even love can be bought!

Nights and days
Look all the same
Sunrise or sunset
No one's ready to take the blame!

The story goes around
Bad vibrations, distorted sound
The depths of eternal love
Have faded into oblivion!

Our inner self is not bold
Feelings are bought and sold
As we gaze around with yearnings undefined
The soul lingers in darkness, in exile!

The world is a stage
Why not perform actions worthy of our name
And awaken the spirit of love and humanity
To fill the world with peace and tranquility!
